My list of things I'd like to do this year other than knitting and crochet:
1) embroidery, cross stitch, crewel, needlepoint
2) write a story and include illustrations
3) read actual books (other than ones about knitting, crochet and yarn)
4) travel - car road tripping or flying somewhere
5) play games - board games, wii, handheld
6) sewing
7) paper crafting/ mixed media artwork
8) baking
9) visit parks, go to the zoo and other outdoor activities
10) keep in touch with written letters/cards
11) do more charity related things - donations, volunteering
Off the needles and off the 2011 project list:
the lacey/patterned cowl - all done and ready for Xmas 2011 gifting
Frogged:
the "in-no-rush-to-finish" sweater - I just knew I was never going to actually get back to it
Newly on the needles:
a textured vest
Still on the needles:
Socks - mine and Mr T's; I keep getting distracted by other projects BUT I am hoping to get at least one pair done by the end of the month.
